in 1Password 4 for Windows

I have 1Password, planning to download 1Password4. Will the data I have in the present plan be transferred to the new or do I need to back-up the data?
What if I leave the original Password in place and add the Password4, what happens? thanks

    You can un-install the old version (this won't delete your 1Password data). Or you can keep the old version and install the new version (they are designed to peacefully co-exist).
