1Password icon in Firefox does nothing [Fixed by following the Kaspersky tip in our KB]
Have been using 1Password v3 for ages and love it. Today updated to 4.0.1.503 and installed the browser addon for Firefox 30.0 (v4.2.3)
With v3 I had a key icon and a '1P' icon. In v4 I just have the key icon... but clicking it does absolutely nothing.
I have reinstalled 1Password a few times. I have restarted 1Password Helper and of course have rebooted the PC and restarted Firefox many times.
The icon still does nothing.
Any suggestions?

Are you running Kaspersky? (or another anti-virus "solution" maybe?)

Yes, Kaspersky Internet Security 2014.
Following you question I did completely close KIS and restart FF and restart 1P Helper.The key icon still does nothing
