Accidentally deleted Dropbox folder

In my zeal to transfer my documents from Dropbox to SpiderOak, I must have accidentally deleted the 1password file from Dropbox. It looks like the passwords in my Firefox plugin are up to date, but when I try to run the Window application it (of course) can't find the file. How can I get all my updates from Firefox to a new Dropbox file? My last backup was about 3 weeks ago and I've since updated a few passwords.

thanks!

  • Hi @OX4,

Ouch! That's no good. Dropbox do have a 30-day retention policy, you might be able to restore there. Here's how you can try:

    1. Go to Dropbox.com in your browser and log in
    2. On top right, next to the search field, click on the trash icon to show deleted files:
    3. Right-click on the 1Password or _1Password.agilekeychain_folder to select Restore: .

If that works, download it to your SpiderOak folder and see if you can direct 1Password to open that folder.

    I hope that helps!

Thanks a ton! That seems to have worked great. I'll try and move it on over to SpiderOak once I'm sure everything is synced up.

  • Hi @OX4,

You're absolutely welcome, I'm glad you got it all working well.
