Watchtower difference between Windows and Mac

I am running both the mac version (4.4.1.006) on os x mavericks and the windows version (4.0.1.503) on windows 8. They both access the same vault stored on dropbox and are, of course, synced.
However, Watchtower on the mac tells me I have no vulnerable items. Watchtower on the pc tells me I have two vulnerable items (both for the same site).
Why is this and which is correct?
