1Password 4 plugin not working with Pale Moon 24.7.2

Hi Guys--long time user. I installed 1Password 4 for Windows and tried to install the Firefox plugin. The key icon is greyed out and can't be clicked. I've been using the 3.9.20 version of the plugin and it works pretty well overall.

1) Any way to get the new plugin working with Pale Moon? 2) Can I use 1Password 4 for windows with the old 3.9.20 plugin?

More information: 4.2.4 would not show the key icon at all, so after searching here I installed 4.2.3. In 4.2.3 it shows the greyed out icon.
