What's up with the Firefox plugin?
Hello,
I'm having a lot of problems with the Firefox plugin.
1.) I've been saving a number of sites into 1P recently and i'm finding on some sites that when I click the 1P icon on the toolbar the menu doesn't appear. In these cases I switch over to I.E. (only because I have to :) ) where it works flawlessly.
2.) Tonight i've tried to save a login and the main menu appears ok but when I select settings-> new login the box doesn't popup asking me what I want to call the login and where I want to save it. Again switching to I.E. no problem.
3.) Sometimes i'll type in a login on a new web-page and click the submit button and 1P will popup asking if I want to save it as a login. I say yes to save it only to find out later that's it's not actually saved it at all. I've lost a few logins with this bug.
4.) Sometimes when I fill in a login and click submit 1P will offer to save the login, other time's it won't. This is on the same website. When i've experienced bug number 3 i've gone back and filled in the form a second time but it doesn't prompt me to save the login, yet minutes earlier the same site did.
5.) I installed 1P on my work computer today where I also have firefox installed. The 1P firefox plugin just does not work at all on this system. I see the 1P lock icon but when I click it the menu does not appear no matter what page I have open.
Is there something I can do to make it more reliable or is the firefox plugin just a bugged up mess atm?

Thanks, @reck.
1 through 4. Please let us know the specific sites. We always want to check, in case there's something we can do to make 1Password work there.
5. Have you tried the tips in the Troubleshooting > The browser extensions article in the 1Password for Windows knowledgebase?
I've also noticed the Dev team recommending disabling code signature verification a lot, lately. (Be sure to let us know, if you do, by clicking the link in that article.)

I've been creating a list but it does seem intermittent. I can go to a site that doesn't work and by clicking around the and/or refreshing the page can normally get it to work. When I get home i'll list some sites.
Still no luck getting the 1P FF plugin working on my work machine so I tried the link you mentioned. I couldn't see the help->advanced option so I had to do it the hard way and create a key in the registry directly. Making that registry change seems to have fixed the problem, thanks.
I thought you only had to make this change if you were running Kaspersky though? We have Sophos installed here.
There’s a warning here that this setting has lowered the security and I should send you a note so I’m notified when the issue is fixed. Could you add me to the list please?
Thanks

Thanks, email sent.

Just tried them again just now and they all work, go figure. As I said it's an intermittent issue. So far not seen any issues with the I.E. plugin and seems more reliable than the FF plugin.
