feature request: icon download without http in the URL
Hi,
It would be great is 1Password for Windows can download icons even if there's no http:// specified in the url. I have a database that was imported from keepass and many entries are facebook.com. 1Password won't download the icons unless I put in a http://facebook.com. It should know that this is a URL field and try to download the icons regardless of whether http:// was in there or not. Thanks.

1Password detects URLs when they start with this:
www.
orhttp[s]://

Why? The https restriction I could understand on security grounds, but since a www prefix could be SSL or not, you're stilling allowing insecure icon downloads. So, what is the reason?

Why?
@RichardPayne Because we're using Location for other things besides an URL

ok, Window Class ID's? All of the application logins I've saved have been numeric. Is that not always the case?

That's fine to use location for things other than URLs but that is an easy check? If the URL isn't pingable do nothing.. if it is try to do a get. It just makes the user experience so much better (Less = good) :) . Isn't that one of the benefits of 1Password so we don't have to type and memorize as much? :)

@RichardPayne Correct.

No. Windows class name can be anything.

Odd. As I said, I've only even seen numerics.

I know @svondutch, I looked them up after you first mentioned it. I was just commenting about the class ids I'd seen while using 1Password.
