What happens to 1Password 1 for Windows?

Hi there, in 2012 I purchased 1Password, not cheap but very useful. I am happy with version 3. Now you offer version 4 for close to 30 dollar.
What happens to version 3? Will it still be safe and updated?

    @michiel8, we hope you'll consider the price of your 1Password 1 for Windows license to have provided good value for the 2+ years of security it's provided, and that you'll understand that—despite our remarkable 21-month (and counting) free upgrade period and discounted licenses for earlier buyers—we do need to have income to pay for new development and support.
