Unable to add attachment(s)
OS X 10.10, 1Password 5.02
Since !Password 5, I have noticed that dragging and dropping attachments to an item does not work anymore. After you drag, get the green + sign and let go, the attachment flies back to its origin instead of attaching.

Hi @SecretDancer,
Thanks so much for bringing this issue to our attention! I'd love to get a bit more detail on this issue, if you don't mind. I've done some testing here, and it seems like most attachments are behaving correctly for me here. So, let's see if we can narrow down what you're seeing:
- Are you seeing this with all types of attachments, or is this restricted to a certain file type? (for example, we do have an open report on email attachments not being correctly added.)
- Just to confirm: the entry is in 'Edit' mode when you are dragging?
- Is this consistent across all item categories, or specific to one?
We appreciate your help in tracking this down!

Hi Megan,
I only have the problems with attaching email(s). This is something new, as I have attached many emails in the past.
I just tried attaching a different type of file and THAT worked, so its just with emails.
I make sure that I am in edit mode before dragging.
The problem is consistent across all item categories.
Sounds like you already have an open ticket on this issue.
I'll let you know if I have anything else useful to pass along. :\

There is currently a problem in Yosemite. If you're talking about the Mail app running under Yosemite drag the email first to the Desktop and then as an attachment into 1P. That should work.

Hi @SecretDancer Does Stephen_C's explanation explain your issue, do you use Apple's Mail exclusively and find it's the only source of the bug at the moment?

I use Apple Mail exclusively. I discovered that if I drag an email first to DevonThink, then attach to 1Password, it works. I found this out by accident, then saw Stephen's post, double-blinding the need for an interim step. So yes, Apple Mail seems to be the culprit. Thanks for the tip :)

@SecretDancer Hopefully they'll resolve this soon and remove the need of an intermediary step. Until then I hope it isn't too much of an inconvenience.
