licensing, syncing, getting started with 1Password

I am new to 1password as of last night. I downloaded the app and upgraded to pro version for my iphone and my ipad. So far so good.
I am now at work on my Windows based PC and I am lost as to how to get that downloaded and licensed, etc.Download which one? then I need a license but from who? Itunes?agilebits? third party? If you buy here this will not update....etc type stuff is confusing as hell.

The downloaded app on my PC wants a license but I do not have a clue where to go, what to ask for, or what to do.How do I get it linked to my ipad/iphone accounts.
Long time LASTPASS user with yers of no problems.. I like the 1PASSWORD approach and the reviews but I should not be this confused as to where to start or what to do.
I am a company President of a medium sized company, definitely not an IT savvy professional, but as I said I should not be this confused already.
About to give up.

The first thing to do when you install 1Password on any computer or device is to check the "quick start" section of the user's guide, accessible from the Help menu (and in the support area of our web site).
