Is 1Password Thunderbird compatible?

There seems to be a suggestion that it is, perhaps accidentally? @richardpayne was pointing it out?

    No, it's just the Firefox extension installation that is problematic. It's not even a particularly huge problem; you just need to close Firefox and Thunderbird before you install the extension. Once the extension is install then Thunderbird's presence is irrelevant to 1Password's operation.

    Thanks for the clarification. I haven't used it since Thunderbird 3. I am currently using webmail.
