1password button not working in Firefox

I have Windows 1password version 4.1.0.526, Firefox version 33.0.3 and the 1password extension version 4.2.4 enabled in Firefox. The 1password "key button" shows in the toolbar, but nothing happen when I click on it. I have Kaspersky Internet security installed, and have tried to temporary disabling that, with no effect.
It works good in Chrome & Internet Explorer.
Suggestions?
