Login Fails from home URL

I have a login that works when the browser is not open to web site I want to log in to but fails if the browser is at the root of the web site. The URL in 1Password includes the "signin" part of the URL. Is there anyway to make this work?

    Can you provide us the specific URL saved in the Login item, as long as it doesn't include confidential info, and the URL where the Login fails?

    We'll be happy to try to reproduce the behavior, to see what's going on.
