WiFi category

I'm glad that AgileBits is finally pushing for 1Password for Windows. When 3 was released I asked why the WiFi category is missing that is available on iOS and OSX. Now 4 is here and it's still missing. It's the only thing that's stopping me from upgrading on Windows.

Can you explain what you mean by "Wi-Fi category", Gabriel?

1Password 4 for Windows includes the ability to sync with 1Password for iOS over a temporary Wi-Fi connection, but there's no specific category (like Logins and Secure Notes) for storing Wi-Fi information.

On the Mac version, there is a Wireless Router category - I think that's what Gabriel is asking for on the Windows version. It is called Router there.

    I see.

I've never quite understood the 1Password for Mac assumption that all routers are wireless. :)

If that's the case, Gabriel, you'll find it under Account in the menu that appears when you click the New Item tool in the main 1Password program, and your new Router item will appear in the Accounts group in the sidebar.

Please let us know whether that helps.

Worse yet, the Router category on Windows has an AirPort ID field!

Who says we're originally a Mac company? ;)
