CAN'T SYNC VAULT - ANY ALTERNATIVES?

I downloaded 1Password at work on my PC and started using it. Now I upgraded to ios8 on my iPhone 5 and downloaded the app. I can't figure out how to import the vault already created on my PC to my iPhone. None of the options work. Work security doesn't allow access to dropbox or wifi network. Can I email the vault to myself somehow and import on my iphone that way?

A co-worker tells me you'll need to set up an ad hoc -Wi-Fi connection. He pointed me to this article, explaining how to do that in Windows 7:

Once you have that set up on your PC, you'll tell your iPhone to connect to that Wi-Fi network, so you can use Wi-Fi sync as described in this article in the 1Password 4 for Windows user's guide.
