1Password in Firefox couldn't connect to 1Password helper [solved: problem with RequestPolicy]

edit: The issue with Firefox not being able to connect to the 1Password helper has been solved by configuring a browser plugin called "RequestPolicy".
After listing agilebits.com under "exceptions" in the plugin's preferences the 1PW-extension is now working.
