I have a macbook air Lion 10.7.5. I understand I can only use 1password version 3, which cannot be purchased directly anymore. So what do I need to do be able to install 1password.

Thanks for your interest in 1Password! You're right, for Lion you'll need 1Password 3. What you'll want to do is purchase a license for the latest version from our website. The email you'll receive confirming purchase will include a license key for 1Password 3 - and the bonus is that, when you upgrade your computer/operating system, you'll have a shiny new 1Password 5 license to match!

If you haven't already, you can download 1Password 3 from our downloads page, just scroll to the bottom for the legacy versions. :)
