I have a couple of sites that 1P fills and the site says password incorrect. However, when I copy and paste the password from 1P it works fine. Whats going on and how can I fix this?

Sites very often do not state their password restrictions. If you choose a password of 21 characters and the site only accepts 20, there may be no warning. Copy and paste only fills in the first 20 characters of the 21, whereas 1PW does something different (I think replaces character 20 by the character 21 it knows).

So a shorter password may solve the problem.

Hi @MikeH‌ danco is correct, we don't use copy and paste but instead mimic keystrokes. So if there is an artificial limit it can cause problems.

Saying that, something may have gone awry with this particular page. Something worth trying in these instances is Saving a Login Manually. When you go down this route 1Password can see precisely what fields should be used. Trust me when I say what you can see may not be all that is there.
