New password not copying to clipboard
I am using the password generator in the 1password menu from my top Mac toolbar (not the one in Safari) and the option to save to clipboard before filling is selected, however nothing copies to the clipboard. There is no way known to retrieve the new password that I am aware of. I have also tried selecting the password text and copying it manually but it still doesn't copy to the clipboard. I see a similar issue was reporting here in February which just seemed to fix itself - but there must be a cause if it's happening to more than one person.
Appreciate any advice. Very frustrating.

While it may not directly address your immediate issue, have you checked to see if the generated password is saved in the Passwords category? That stores any generated passwords which are not specifically linked to a saved login.
Just as a passing thought, are you using any special clipboard manager on your Mac?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble here. Could you please let me know which version of 1Password you are using, and which version of OS? This will help us narrow things down.

@DemetersRest, I haven't been able to reproduce the problem you described. To make sure I understand, are you clicking the Fill button in the password generator? Or clicking the drop-down option next to Fill and choosing Copy?
Also, you mentioned you're using the 1Password mini icon in the Mac menubar instead of the Safari browser extension. Have you tried both? Does it work as expected in one but not the other?
Finally, it may help to let us know some more details about what you're trying to do. For example, are you creating/changing a password for a website login? Which app are you using when you generate the password? If you're not trying to do something in a web browser, what is the password for?
