1Password 3(Windows) and 5(Mac) - Chrome extension mismatch
I have been using 1Password for a long time. Purchased a bundle of version 3 for Windows and Mac. This was working great with chrome and synchronizing extensions. Now that i have purchased 1 password 5 for mac (bundled with other software) i have the problem that my Windows version of the extension in not compatible and i have to purchase version 4!
Do i really need to buy another version?? Otherwise i would have been better of buying a bundle upgrade again.
For now i disabled the synchronization of extensions within Chrome on my Windows machine and installed the older one. I hope this will not cause problems.

Not necessarily. If you purchased 1Password for Windows in 2013 or 2014, then the upgrade to version 4 is FREE.

As noted in this article, your 1Password 1 for Windows + 1Password 3 for Mac "bundle" license should yield a nice discount on an upgrade to 1Password 4 for Windows, in our online store.
