Unable to install new version

in 1Password 3 – 7 for Mac

Hi,

Since a few months I'm trying to update 1 Password3 for Mac as I receive the pup up message: «Changes for version 3.8.22 (build #32010)...Published on 2014-05-21».

While I'm doing so, I always receive the same error message: ...«An error has occurred on archive extraction please try again» (translated from French: Une erreur est survenue lors de l'extraction de l'archive. Veuillez réessayer.

As I try and try again, the same error message pups up. Please help!

    Hi @malimarcus,

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble here! Let's try this:

    • Quit 1Password
    • Go to our downloads page and scroll to the bottom of the page to the 'Legacy' versions
    • Download a fresh copy of 1Password 3
    • Drag this new app into your /Applications folder and replace the existing one - do not use any app cleaners!

    This should get you all sorted out, but if you have any further questions or concerns, we're here for you!
