Good Morning all, If there is anyone who is comfortable setting up 1password for an iPad please contact me. I have downloaded 1password to both my iMac desktop and iPad. On my desktop, 1password works fine, but I cannot seem to get it to work on the iPad. Please assist if you are able.

I have now been trying to get 1Password working on my iPhone and I used your screen shots about that to get it set up. I have both dropbox and 1Password on my iPhone and after I unlock I cloud I see that the sync service is set to Dropbox, with a blue Sync Now below it, and if I click it all it does is say last sync so many seconds ago. Next to items I see 51, which means 1password knows I have 51 which is correct for what is on my desktop. When I leave your app and go to safari and type in Facebook or other places that I have set up passwords for nothing happens to get me in! HELP.

    Hi @Trudy Thomson

I'm so sorry that you're still struggling here... but it sounds like you're making progress - that's awesome!

First of all, I just wanted to let you know about our User Guides and Knowledgebase. There's all sorts of great information in there, with plenty of screenshots to walk you through just about everything that you need to know.

In particular, there is an article about the awesome new 1Password App Extension that will help you log in to Facebook on Safari. Have a read through the article about how to set up the extension and please let me know if you have any questions. The app extension works a little bit differently than the browser extension that you use on the Mac, but it's still really handy!

So After reading the second link I was able to get to Facebook, but tried to get to NetFLIX and clicked SHARE then 1Password it filled it in and said it was wrong, and I have two versions of Password for Netflix login and it said both were wrong. I find it very annoying in Safari that I have to first click share then 1password, then enter that secret code and it still does not work. I have decided to go back to the cloud keychain I used to have and put my secret passwords from my real rolodex from my desik into the real physical lockbox at my brick and motor bank. Thanks everyone for you assistance but this is way more than I want to deal with. Please do figure out how to refund me. I assume I will be able to figure out a way to disable 1password now and go back to my other approach!

After you refund me I might try ordering this app from my apple store and try that approach. Would that be easier, it does not seem to play nicely with dropbox and I am getting more than frustrated! Or if I might just drop 1Password all together so I am busily copying all my present passwords out of that in to a doc I can use so I do not lose the various login name info and passwords I set up through 1password.

    Hello @Trudy Thomson

I've processed your refund as per your request. You should hopefully see it in the next few business days. Obviously we want people happy with 1Password but sometimes the fit isn't quite right. The Apple Mac App Store (MAS) version only differs slightly in that you also have iCloud Sync support available but you still have to set up syncing and your issues with the iOS app will still be present. If you were to experiment with the MAS version please be aware that all purchasing and refund issues have to go through Apple as their store is closed to us. I hope you find a solution that works for you

Thanks for the reminder about purchasing from the Apple store. I HAVE COMPLETED DELETED 1password and dropbox from all IOS devices and put apple keychain back into effect and all is good. I do appreciate the tremendous amount of efforts to help, but I do advice you ask your supervisors to have phone support. Getting in and out a various times over a number of days has made it very hard to remember exactly what was being done when, and the help pictures did not match what was on my devices. Bye!
