Pricing woes
Back in November I paid $20 for an iOS version of 1Password that is now free, and I downloaded a free Mac OS version that wasn't clearly marked as a trial but now costs $50 to continue using. Pretty rough. I feel like I'm being jerked around on cross-platform pricing. My business is looking for a password manager for its 70+ employees – we'd been leaning toward 1Password but now find it hard to swallow with all the pricing confusion.
1Password, will you meet me in the middle and credit the $20 I paid toward the now-free iOS app toward my purchase of the Mac OS version?

Hi @Matt Irwin
Thanks for taking the time to write in, I'm sorry that you're feeling frustrated with 1Password right now.
First of all, I'd just like to point out that it's not quite that you purchased an app that was later re-released for free. 1Password 5 operates on a freemium model, which means that the basic app is free, but there are premium features available for an in-app purchase. Because you purchased 1Password 4, you have access to those premium features without having to pay the in-app purchase.
I do apologize that the Mac version was not clearly marked as a trial. We're working on making this more clear to users.
Please email your purchase receipt for 1Password 4 for iOS in to support+forums@agilebits.com, with a link to this thread, and we'll see what we can do.
