Secure desktop master password prompt crashes Windows shell often

I am using 1Password 4, under Windows 7, in conjunction with Firefox and standalone. Secure desktop is a good idea and I am keen to use it, but I frequently find that it causes Windows Explorer to crash. This causes a big delay as it restarts, and problems with some applications afterwards, mainly to do with status icons. of course, it should never happen at all.

@amh, are you saying that the act of entering your master password and submitting the form to unlock your data is causing Windows Explorer to crash?

    If so:

    • Does it happen when you unlock the browser extension, when you unlock the main program, or both?

    • What form does the crash take? For example, is there an error message of some kind? If so, can you post a screen shot or tell us the title and text of the message that appears?

This is the first I've heard of this problem, and I know Dev would love to fix it, if there's anything 1Password can do.

    Thanks!
