Trying to connect Windows trial to 1Password on my Mac

Hi, I am evaluating 1password and have installed it on my mac. I am trying to install it also on my PC, but I cannot figure out how to connect it to my mac account. When I set it up, it asks for a location, but never connects to my mac data.

Any assistance most appreciated!

    There aren't accounts, as 1Password doesn't work as a service. Instead, you install 1Password on each computer and mobile device where you want to use it; then you sync your 1Password data among those devices.

    Have you seen the Syncing your data article in the 1Password for Windows user's guide?

    If not, you may not realize that you just need to follow the instructions in the Setting up Dropbox sync article. Once you've got Dropbox on your PC, you'll want to follow the instructions under that second bullet, "You’ve saved Logins and other items in 1Password for Mac, and you want to start by getting that data into 1Password for Windows."
