Mac and Windows with a shared vault on dropbox do not show the same information.

I have Mac and Windows computers sharing a vault via Dropbox. Everything was fine, then one of the windows computers went a little haywire requiring a reinstall of dropbox. After that all Windows computers show the vault one way with most items missing and the Mac shows it like nothing happened. However, if I modify anything on the Mac it will then show up on the Windows computers and vice versa.

Basically is there a way to reset the Windows computers so they sync everything?

Thanks.

Never mind. Just deleted the dropbox folder and restored from backup then re synced everything back to fine.

You probably need to reset Dropbox sync in 1Password for Mac, because what 1Password for Windows displays is what is actually in Dropbox.

Please back up your vault in 1Password for Mac before you reset Dropbox sync. Thanks!

When your 1Password data is only in 1Password for Windows, it uses the Dropbox-synced .agilekeychain folder directly, so you would not want to delete them from Dropbox without making a backup first.

If your 1Password data is complete and accurate in 1Password for Mac, though, it's safe to delete the .agilekeychain folder form your local Dropbox hierarchy, because 1Password for Mac retains you data in an internal database. (Making a backup first certainly won't hurt, of course!) That manual deletion of the folder in your local Dropbox hierarchy will be propagated to your PC and other devices associated with the same Dropbox account.

Then you can re-enable Dropbox syncing in 1Password for Mac, causing it to create a new .agilekeychain folder, which will be copied automatically by Dropbox to your PC and other devices, where you can open it in the usual manner.

Let us know if you have any questions, @11thhour‌.
