Secure Note User Interface Oddity

I have been confused by the UI several times when reading a Secure Note. I want to edit the note but there is no header bar with icons! I may be a bit dim but I eventually realised that the header bar is attached to the top of the document and scrolls off the top of the pane when you are reading further down the note. This seems a very odd design and one that I don't recall before in many years with Windows programs. Maybe it's a Mac thing?

Could the header bar not be fixed to the top of the note pane ?

@Olympian Totally agree, this can be inconvenient. Here's a workaround for you. You can double-click on the item, or right-click on it and then click on: "Edit".
