Sync - 1Password on two Macs
I bought my 1password 5 app/license from the Agilebits website. It works perfectly on my home Mac. I installed 1password 5 on my work Mac, and added the license file that I received for my home Mac. So far so good.
Now this is where I get stuck: I launch 1password on my work computer, choose 'I've used 1password before' and then i don't see how I can sync my two computers over wifi. Please help. Thanks!
I really did try to research this but I couldn't figure it out :(

Hi @zozo,
Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately Wi-Fi sync cannot be used to sync Mac to Mac. It can only be used to sync from a Mac to one or many iOS devices. For Mac to Mac you'll want to use Dropbox or Folder Sync. In this case you should setup your home Mac to sync to dropbox, then on the work Mac you can point it to dropbox (it should spot it when launched for the first time and recommend it).
I hope this helps.

Hi Rick,
Thanks for answering.Question: can I sync over wifi between one mac and my iPhone, and then between the iPhone and the 2nd mac? Is that a good idea?
Cheers.

I'm not Rick but will give you a preliminary answer. You can use the iPhone in effect to bridge a sync between two Macs but you need to be careful and it's a little tricky (because you have to remember to set up wifi sync on the phone each time to find the correct Mac). It's not so seamless as sync between one Mac and iOS devices.

Hi @zozo
I'm with Stephen_C on this one. You can do what you're asking but it's fiddly as you have to enable and disable sync repeatedly. It certainly isn't my preference but if you really don't like the cloud sync options then it is possible. Let us know what you think.
