See list of saved data but can't edit them - 1Pass 5.0.2 for Mac
It has been working fine - but now can't get the data for the individual entries to load in the right-hand panel for editing.
Same in browser extension - click on Edit in the entry and nothing happens.
Software purchased through the app store back in December.
Thanks! Terry

Hi Terry ( @tkmorrison ),
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password. Now, this is a bit of a strange one, and I'm not able to recreate this here, so we might have to do a little bit of digging to get to the bottom of this.
Could you let me know what version of the extension you're using? This can be found in the browser's extensions pane.
Are you seeing a 'trial expired' message in the app anywhere?

In Chrome, it's 4.2.5.90
But this problem also exists when I load 1Pass as an application . . .
And not seeing 'trial expired' anywhere . . .
Thanks! Terry

I discovered that an old version of 1Pass does work: Version 4.0.8 (408001)
So I guess the question is: how do I get the upgrade to 5.0.2 to work?
Thanks! Terry

Hi Terry ( @tkmorrison ),
I'm still not sure I'm understanding just what you're seeing here. I'd love to see a screenshot of this. To include it in your reply, simply click the document button in the top of the comment field, and select the file you wish to share:

Below is a screen shot of what happens when I load 1Pass 5.0.2. But I think the problem is that I haven't upgraded from my previous version (4.0.8) I downloaded the code from the App Store but I haven't paid for it. But the App Store sees that I have downloaded the code and doesn't give me the opportunity to upgrade. Is a upgrade available from 4.0.8 to 5.0.2?
Thanks! Terry

Hi @tkmorrison
thanks for sharing that screenshot. I definitely haven't seen this before ... it's odd.
I downloaded the code from the App Store but I haven't paid for it.
The upgrade from 1Password 4 to 1Password 5 is free for all 1Password 4 users, so you shouldn't have to pay if you already own 1Password 4. Which version of OS X are you using?

Yosemite - 10.10.1

Now I get these 2 error messages below when I try to load 1Pass.
Should 1Pass.app and 1Pass mini.app both be in /Applications?

I am puzzled by the sequence of errors to which you have referred and this is rather a "last ditch" suggestion—which is risky if in fact you still can't re-download afterwards from the Mac App Store. However, for what it's worth and bearing that risk in mind, my suggestion is this (if you feel up to trying it).
- Drag the 1P app to the trash (don't use any app cleaner tool, which is likely to try to delete files you need to keep).
- Empty the trash and reboot.
- Re-download and re-install 1P.

Thanks, Stephen, that did it!
And thanks to your colleague, also.
