Master Password pre-filled
I typed in login info for a site I didn't have saved in 1password, and my master password was pre-filled. I hit enter, then 1password was unlocked. Is there a case when this is supposed to happen? Can I turn it off? I saw a previous post from 2011 about this but it mentions a setting which doesn't seem to exist anymore. I'm on version 5.02

I'm not sure, but this sounds a little like you had your credentials saved in the iCloud keychain, which does automatically fill like that. You might check.

Hi @Blinko,
I'd love to get a bit more detail here. It sounds as if the password that you use on a particular site was filled - not your Master Password in 1Password, is that correct? Please provide the exact steps that you took before this happen, including what you expected to happen and what actually happened.
Once we get a better idea of what's going on, we should be able to get this sorted in no time!

I'm talking about the 1Password Master password. When you log into a web site and don't have a stored login there, it pops up the dialog that asks if you want to save. The 1Password password entry popped up, and the password was pre-filled but not visible (black circles). I hit enter and was then in 1Password unlocked.

Hi @Blinko,
1Password's Master Password field uses Secure Input, so there really isn't a way to pre-fill that pane. I'd love to see a screenshot of this. Please ensure that no personal information is included in the shot, but I would like to see the full screen, just to get a bit of context on the situation.
