Is there a way i can restore the saved data using a new password. I have lost/forgotten the master password. I would like to create a new vault and back up the previously stored data from the computer/icloud.
Kindly help.

    I'm afraid there is no way to access your 1P data if you have forgotten your master password. Having a look at this knowledge base article about forgotten master passwords may help you to remember the master password.

    If you really can't recall the master password I suspect you're going to have to start over (which will lose all your existing 1P data). My only tip in those circumstances would be to check the OS X keychain (using the Keychain Access app on your machine) and/or your browser to see if you have any saved login details in those places which you could then transfer back into 1P.

    Hi @jcnlw08,

    I am very sorry to hear that you have forgotten your Master Password. The article that Stephen_C has linked to is going to be your best bet. Unfortunately there is no way for us to restore your data without the Master Password. A 'back door' like that would be a vulnerability that attackers could potentially exploit.
