Can't download FF extension

Tried to do it through the 1P preferences but didn't work, went to https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-windows-kb/4/en/topic/cannot-install-extension in IE but received the following message:

There is a problem with this website’s security certificate.

(Having said that my computer has been having problems with all kinds of site certificates today, I'm not sure what to do about it.)

You're probably running an older version of Internet Explorer. My advice is to use Internet Explorer 11.
