Blank box when I click to open

When I click on 1password to open, I get only a blank, white box. Just before this happened, when I clicked to open, in sign-on line, it read 'synching and started counting progressively from the number 1 and kept going until I closed the browser. A couple of months ago, I couldn't get 1password to close- every time I tried to access it, it was already open. This occurred over a period of a few days. Now I can't get into 1password at all. I have a PC with windows7. Thanks!

It sounds like you're talking about the 1Password extension in one of your browsers.

Can you tell us what version of which browser you're using and what version of the 1Password extension is installed in that browser?

Also, have you tried the tips in the Troubleshooting > The browser extensions article in the 1Password 4 for Windows knowledgebase?

If yes, then please follow these steps:

1. remove the old extension from your web browser
2. download and install 1Password 4
3. (re-)install the 1Password extension into your web browser
