Issue with Citi.com links
Hi,
I am running 1Password for Windows v 4.1.0.538
I have tried iOS and Windows, Firefox and Chrome but I cannot auto fill the following Citi.com URLs with any sucess:
- https://www.accountonline.com/buscards/USBAO/login/showLogin.action
- https://www.accountonline.com/cards/svc/LoginGet.do?NEXT_SCREEN=/AccountSummary&langId=EN&siteId=HHONORS
- https://online.citibank.com/
- https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/creditcards/CitiHome.do
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. I do have about 408 working logins so I think the app is great!!!

FYI - I did try the procedure posted by MIkeT to create a new login already and it does not work - it fails to save the password field - only gets a single character

Hi @davidburdick,
Thank you so much for letting us know that you are having trouble filling on citi. This is indeed a troublesome site to fill - we are in the process of looking into what is going on. I've added your comments to our tracker. I'm sorry for the inconvenience this is causing!

Count me in as having the issue. Creating a new login results in the username of "Us*****me" and password of "a" being stored in 1Password.

Thanks for letting us know @PurdueGuyInWLA!
In the meantime while we work on fixing filling on this site, we have discovered a workaround that should let you save a login in 1Password that works on all citi login pages. Give the following a try:
- Visit this page
- Manually save a login item
- Edit the item in 1Password and ensure the username was not saved like "Us*****me". If it was, simply replace it with your real username.
This login item should work on all the citibank login pages! Please let us know if you run into any trouble.

Thank you for reporting this, @davidburdick and @PurdueGuyInWLA. (By the way, I recently moved back to LA from Indiana [where my wife is from]. Maybe I'll see you around!) :)
I've done a lot of testing with my own Citi Login, and the solution @meek provided unfortunately doesn't work very well on Windows. It's my own fault. I was all excited about a solution to the issue on Mac, so I shared it with the team. I hadn't tested it in Windows. Please accept my apology. For now, it is not ideal, but the following should give you a working Login for Citi.
Current solution
Create a new Login item in the main 1Password for Windows app. We don't normally recommend this, so you may see this warning if you haven't already disabled it in the past:
It only works reliably on this Citi URL in my testing, so use this URL when you create the item: https://online.citibank.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do
Unfortunately, it won't work on the other two current Citi URLs, and it doesn't fill the username in Internet Explorer. We are working to improve this in a future update, though.
Additional uninteresting info about Citi URLs
There used to be five (5!) Citi URLs, but they are now redirecting some of them. Here are the current 3 (that I am aware of). Note that we’re down to just two domains (citi.com and citibank.com). I guess that’s progress. :|
- https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/creditcards/CitiHome.do
- https://online.citibank.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do
- https://www.accountonline.citibank.com/cards/svc/LoginGet.do
Old Citi URLs
They used to be these 5 (shown with redirects where applicable).
- https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/creditcards/CitiHome.do
- https://creditcards.citi.com -> https://www.citi.com/credit-cards/creditcards/CitiHome.do
- https://online.citibank.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do
- https://www.accountonline.com/cards/svc/LoginGet.do -> https://www.accountonline.citibank.com/cards/svc/LoginGet.do
- http://www.citibankonline.com -> https://online.citibank.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do
Of course, Citi could change all this again tomorrow. (And I wouldn't put it past them. It's almost like they are trying to make my life hard sometimes.) LOL
I hope that helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist with in the meantime.

And...

Ah, yes. I should have specified "Citi credit card" URLs. I'm sure they have another dozen or so for every other type of account one can have with them. :)

it doesn't fill the username in Internet Explorer
@khad A quick reminder that you can turn on Auto-Type for this Login. Auto-Type should always work. /cc @davidburdick @PurdueGuyInWLA

Thanks, @Khad.
Using that URL (https://online.citibank.com/US/JPS/portal/Index.do) in my Login item, 1Password opens the correct URL in the correct browser, but it does not fill in my saved credentials—the User ID and Password fields on the form stay empty until I press Ctrl+\ to have the extension enter them and submit the form.
The result is the same no matter how I invoke the "go & fill":
Click on the URL in the details area of the main 1Password window
Double-click on the Login item in the list area of the main 1Password window
Right-click on the Login item in the list area of the main 1Password windows, and choose Open In > [browser]
