Feature Suggestion - Security Improvement

Hi,

Your Windows application (1Password) allows you to type your master password in using a 'secure desktop'. However, you cannot change your password using the 'secure desktop' option. Wouldn't it be safe to assume that if you computer is compromised, and you are changing your password, it would be compromised again by changing your password. You might want to add a change password 'secure desktop' feature, if it is even possible to do so.

Thanks,
NR1

That is an excellent suggestion, @nr1.

I should also note that while the Secure Desktop provides some defense against some attacks, it is far far more important that you not have a compromised machine. If you are using Windows 7, please be sure to install Microsoft Security Essentials. If you are using Windows 8, then Windows Defender is already doing its job.

And by far the single best thing you can do to keep your computer free of malware is to keep your system and software up to date.
