Ctrl+\ stopped working in IE (11)
Hi,
Ctrl+\ has stopped working in my IE installation. I had 1Password 1, then installed 1Password 4, because it seemed like a nice upgrade and uninstalled 1Password 1. I found in a couple of minutes of course that there is no browser extension available for IE for 1Password 4. So what I did next is uninstalled 1Password 4 again, and re-installed 1Password 1.
But now Ctrl+\ is not working anymore in IE and that means I have no way of getting to it as far as I am aware. In Manage add-ons in IE, I have 1Password available and enabled, but I have 1PasswordCtrl+\ Not Available and Enabled. I guess the "Not Available" is the give away here. Is there any way to re-install the IE 11 extension for 1Password version 1 or correct this in another way?
Thanks,
Gerard

This is incorrect. v4 does support IE.
What I'd suggest you do is fully un-install all versions of 1Password, then install 1Password v4. IE support is built in so it should just work out of the box. Try that and come back with any problems.

@svondutch I don't use IE unless I have no other choice and so I hadn't realised that the toolbar that 1Password is one is hidden by default.
Is there any way to get the 1Password icon up here:

@RichardPayne Probably not. The 1Password extension for IE is a BHO.

@gerard789, please switch back to 1Password 4 for Windows, and install the version 4.x extensions for any non-IE browsers you might use. (The IE extension will be installed automatically, but you can confirm that on the Browsers tab of 1Password preferences.)
