Can't find 1 Password 3 file after hard drive replacement

I had my hard drive replaced. The data file for 1 Password version 3 is empty. I backed up to dropbox and tried to use that file. It says it is over 8 MB, but when I try to add it to the 1 password window for find my data file, it says it does not exist. Please help

    @SallyD as you refer to 1P3 I have edited the heading of your post to make that clear and also moved the post to the 1P3 for Mac forum where you'll probably get more relevant help.

    Hi @SallyD,

    I'm so sorry to hear that you're having trouble with 1Password! Just to confirm: you have no data stored in 1Password currently, is that correct?

    If so, you should be able to show 1Password where your keychain is simply. Just quit 1Password, then find the 1Password.agilekeychain file in Finder (in your Dropbox folder) and double-click on it. This will open 1Password and prompt you for your Master Password.
