Mac App Store upgrade to 5.1 now browser integration doesn't work
Title pretty much says it all but I'm on OS X 10.10.1 with 1Password 5.1 (510027) from the MAS. Since the auto grade several days ago my Safari, Chrome and Firefox browser integration has failed. The plugins in the browsers looked to be the latest (have even attempted using the 4.3 beta in Safari) without any luck.
When you attempt to load 1Password from the browser it says
"Looking for the 1Password app
The 1Password app must be installed for the extension to work properly."
1Password Mini is running, have even restarted it and 1Password.
Any ideas on the issue/fix?

Does this recent AgileBits post, in response to a question about the same error message, help?

Hi @mr_timp,
I upgraded 1Password via MAS as soon as 5.1 was available because I was eagerly awaiting the improved Wi-Fi Sync features. So when I say I've not had these issues it's merely to say that it isn't a massive bug hitting everybody.
I'd recommend going back to the stable 4.2.5 1Password browser extension though as the beta requires the 1Password beta for any notable differences.
I'd be interested to know your response to the questions in the post that Stephen_C linked you to. Why it should kick up after the 5.1 update I don't know but those are the usual culprits. Was anything else updated at the same time?

Thanks all, looks like I needed to do a reboot to get it to come right.

Given how stable Macs normally are it's easy to forget that it has been ages since you last properly rebooted or shut one down. Sometimes that's all it needs though  Glad to hear it's all running smoothly for you again @mr_timp.
As this seems to be resolved I'm going to close this thread but if you have any questions or issues in the future don't hesitate to post!
