Sync 1Password using Box

Sorry, still confused. I think I am understanding that 1 Password (desktop) for Mac can be synced with Box. If so, how? Step by step directions please -- newbie on board. Assuming I can sync with Box, I get that I cannot sync my mobile device through Box, but instead, I would need to sync my mobile with 1Password wirelessly. Correct?

I don't know anything about Box, @jkladd. You can read about the various sync options (from a 1Password for Windows point of view, because that's the subject of the forum where your question was originally posted) in the Syncing your 1Password data article in the 1Password 4 for Windows user's guide.

I assume that Box would fall into the "folder sync" category. Again, though, I know nothing about it, because it's not a supported option.

(I'm moving your question and this reply to the 1Password for Mac forum, where it'll get the attention of folks more familiar with that platform.)

You should be able to use Folder Sync on Mac with Box, though it is not officially supported. The guide for Folder Sync can be found here: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-mac/5/en/topic/sync-folder

Since folder sync is not supported on iOS, you'd need to use local Wi-Fi sync: https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-mac/5/en/topic/sync-wi-fi
