Video issues with 1Password and Yosemite
I'm not convinced this is a 1Password issue but I'm hoping for some insight here. I have a 2009 Mac Pro with two Samsung monitors hanging off it. All was great under Mavericks. A couple days ago I took the plunge and "upgraded" to Yosemite. After doing so, I started noticing various video artifacts but nothing bad enough to make me throw in the towel and boot off my backup drive. However, after using it a couple days I've found that 1Password5, when launched goes nuts drawing and redrawing the little keyhole icon next to the login box. After some struggling, I can manage to log in but things get drawn and redrawn over and over and editing a login profile is a real adventure! Of all the software on my Mac, the only other program showing similar (or worse) behavior is MoneyWiz 2. It is totally unusable drawing and redrawing until I hard kill it. I can't find more than passing references to Yosemite and video issues and most of those are in the beta versions.
Anybody got any suggestions?
Thanks...

Following up.... I appear to have fixed my problem, at least for the moment. I booted into safe mode and went exploring. I found an outdated flip4Mac pref pane and some other panes I don't use any longer. I deleted all those. Then I did a repair permissions scan even though I'd done a couple already in normal boot mode. This time is found some problems with "displaypolicyd" and fixed it. After all that, I did a normal boot and everything seems back to normal. Hopefully it'll stay that way!

Hi @borgheart,
Thank you for following up to let us know how you were able to solve that problem! That's definitely an unusual issue, and I don't think I've heard of it before. But if someone else runs into the same thing, hopefully your solution will be helpful for them. Thanks again for letting us know, we appreciate it! :)
