1password extension for Chrome is not downloading

I press the "install" button on https://agilebits.com/onepassword/extensions, but I just keep getting a little error message appear at the top saying "There was an error installing the Chrome extension. Please try again or contact us for assistance"- this has been happening for weeks and weeks now, please can someone help?
