Multiple malfunctions
I have used 1P for years, and it has never worked consistently as bad as it does now. Using firefox, it frequently does not recognize the app and forces me to reinstall in the browser, and on multiple websites, including schwab.com, delta.com and many others, it simply does not recognize where it is and does not recognize that passwords are already stored for the site, forcing me to search and reopen the site. We really need a little more information in order to be able to help. What is the version number of the 1P extension in Firefox please?
I'm using 1P5 in Firefox 36 and it generally works well for me. There seems to be one intermittent problem (referred to in this thread on the 1P for Mac beta forum) which seems to be similar to something you experience. However, others have resolved that issue simply by re-starting Firefox. I've certainly not needed to reinstall the 1P extension.
It would be very helpful if you can you explain exactly what you mean when you say:
it frequently does not recognize the app
What happens for me, on occasion, is that when I'm on a FF page for which I have a saved login and press ⌘\ to open and fill with 1P mini the page is simply not recognised at all (even when I've waited to ensure the page is fully loaded). Neither does 1P mini highlight the page, as expected, if I open 1P mini with the ⌥⌘\ shortcut—even though the URL of the page is exactly the same as the saved URL in 1P.
Does all of that match what you're seeing?
