discussions.agilebits.com doesn't have a login page URL that can be automatically navigated to and filled with 1Password. You have to go to the discussions home page, manually click the login link to display a popup, so you can then direct 1Password to fill in the info.

    Hi @tpv0rtex ,

I'll admit, it is a bit ironic that the forum software we've chosen to host our discussions on uses a pop-up log in that doesn't play nicely with 1Password. Hopefully the URL that @MrC provided helps you out!

Thanks, @MrC. That link works perfect! (I did spend awhile trying to guess such a link ...)

Thanks, @Megan. Thanks for acknowledging the irony. My little soul feels happy. :-)

That is ironic, but please, simply be upfront about this for newcomers such as myself.

Please do not make me search to find that I am not crazy. As in not correctly using 1Password, being unable to successfully set up a login for the very site that discusses 1Password functions.

This should be a notice, state the irony then move on and give the link.

Put yourself into the shoes of the customer. We are new, we are testing out the 1Password as in how to navigate within it, set it up and login to test our savvy with the new app.

    Cheers

    Hi @Tow_Pilot,

I'm sorry you're having some trouble using 1Password with these support forums!

I wonder if you might be experiencing a different problem than what the previous messages described. The OP originally pointed out that the "Open and Fill" feature doesn't work with the main https://discussions.agilebits.com page because there's no login form there (i.e. 1Password can't fill a form that isn't there). There are many, many websites that require you to click on a link from the main site to open the login form, so that's not unusual. For sites like that, you can either click the link to open the login form and then use the 1Password extension to fill your username/password, or you can change the URL of that Login item to be the page with the login form (for our support forums, http://discussions.agilebits.com/entry/signin is the page that has the login form).

From your message, it sounds like perhaps you're having trouble saving a Login item for our forums (or another site)? If so, we'll be more than happy to help you with that. We would just need you to give us more details about the exact issue. Are you unable to save a Login item? If so, for what site? What happens when you try to save the Login item? Or are you having trouble filling a login form with 1Password? The more details you can give us about what you're trying to do, the steps you take to do it, and what happens instead, the better. Thanks, and looking forward to hearing back from you! :)
