  • @crmaddon - Could you create a diagnostics report as per this guide -https://guides.agilebits.com/1password-windows-kb/4/en/topic/diagnostics-report - and email it to us at support+forum@agilebits.com. Can you also include a link back to this discussion. Our support staff will then be able to help you further. Thanks !

  • Hi @crmaddon,

What is it that Dropbox is telling you about these files?

It is normal to have hundreds of files in your 1Password data folder, especially if you've been using the application for several years.

Each item inside your 1Password database will be stored as its own file if you're using the .agilekeychain format. You should not touch or modify any of the files inside the 1Password.agilekeychain folder as many of your items are not likely updated over time.

    hi, thanks for the Response,

dropbox is not making any "coments" we just recived a note from dropbox that we have to many files, and found this big amount of files created by dropbox. i did send the logfiles to the Support, so maybe there is a way to reduce the amount of files.. Touching the files is a nogo without advises from dropbox. even if each entry creates a file, it should be much less then the amount of files found.

@crmaddon Here is something you could try: File > Repair 1Password Vault

  • Hi @crmaddon,

Laura has replied to your email, the attachment we got cannot be opened. Please generate a new diagnostic report and send it to us again, thanks!
