Where is 1Password add-on icon in IE for Windows 8?

I've checked the FAQ, but apparently nobody else finds this to be a problem.

I've installed 1Password for Windows on my WIndows 8 laptop (I use it on MacOS and iOS as well), but although it says the add-on is installed (as does IE), I don't see the 1Password icon anywhere in any of IE's tool bars...so I can't actually use it.

@dramsey - It might be that the add on is there but not the icon. Please can you try the following -

    • From Internet Explorer, click on Tools on right hand side (not the Tools in the menu bar),
    • Click on Toolbars > Customize,
    • Click on 1Password on left hand side and then click on Add.

Got it. 1Password was not listed as an option, so I went to "Manage Extensions". There were two 1Password components, a "browser extension" and a "browser helper", which was turned off. I enabled it and the icon appeared on its own. Thanks!

  • @dramsey - I'm so glad you were able to resolve this. Thanks for letting us know.
