Re-populate Rich Icons

For icons that were missing, or web sites that updated or changed their icons - how do I force 1PW to go re-collect them ?
Thought there was an option in a previous version, but cannot find it.

I know I can set a custom icon, but I just want it to go pick up the missing (or updated) ones automatically.

Using 1PW latest from MAS, v5.3

    Hi @sknaffla,

    The Rich Icons feature works by 1Password contact our Rich Icon server and the server responds with the icons. I don't know the history behind it but at the moment we're running a manual update. If there's an icon that you know is outdated please do feel free to let us know and we'll make sure the right people know :smile: We will correct this at some point (the pulling of icons not currently being automated).

    I noticed it because Hilton hotels was not correct, but I created a combined login, with their roomkey.com site and hilton.com site.
    The roomkey was listed first, so did not pick up the icon.
    I just swapped the website order, listing hilton first, and the icon is back as it should be.

    I have about 100 icons that are using the default key. Some of them small sites,
    but the public libraries would be nice. You can PM me who I should send an email to.

    Also - Can I re-use or copy the rich icons you have ?
    Ie 1PW has my corp icon for our public web site, but for an different internal domain site, it has none. If I could just copy the public site icon for the intranet domain that would be nice !

    If you would like to request Rich Icons for certain sites and would like to supply URLs then if you email us at support@agilebits.com with a quick explanation along with the URLs in question.

    As for your question regarding copying a rich icon the answer is yes you can. If you edit an item you can click on the icon regardless of where the icon came from (custom or rich). The standard keyboard shortcuts work e.g. ⌘C and you can then paste over another.

    As for your findings on the website ordering, I'll have to ask the devs about that. Without knowing anything more I can't see why if the first website field doesn't have a Rich Icon associated with it that we couldn't check a second or third. Thank you for reporting that :smile:
