Setting up One-Time Passwords impossible on some sites

Here is the only solution I found when one of my important site doesn't accept to give me a barcode or some other means to double check security.
I had to log on this site that request after my name and PW to fill in a automatically generated number I have to type down quickly. So quickly that my PW disappeared before being able to enter the OTP.
Only solution : type first the OTP then reinter the OnePassword PW for the site. It works but you have to type quickly.
Setting OnePassword to "never submitted" for this site didn't work. You have to set it on "submitted when activated"
Hope there is a better solution. If not may be this will help.

    Hi @Constance,

We can certainly look into this, how would you feel about supplying the URL of the site in question? Once we have a better idea of how we interact with this particular site we can hopefully improve on it either via a change to the software or a different approach that you can use now. I don't know what variant on 2FA the site in question is using but if it is the common TOTP as used in Google Authenticator then you could use 1Password to store that and copy and past the code too. Now you may have perfectly valid reasons why you don't want to. Once we know a little more we will do our best to help
