Data is not visible in 1Password Anywhere
What have been always annoying for me, is that how 1Password tries to treat data differently in different apps and it has been caused a lot of strange problems in the past - something entered into one Mac isn't synced into other correctly, not visible at all in Android etc. Yet I had impression up to now that there is 1Password Anywhere which displays a raw data structures and can be always used to access my data. But I ran into serious trouble yesterday and got very unpleasantly surprised - although I had an access to my Dropbox, 1Password Anywhere just didn't show my data to me.
Look at screenshots below. The "Testing password" entry contains a lot of data, yet 1Password Anywhere shows only a single "password" field. "Testing server" also contains a lot of data, but 1Password Anywhere just doesn't show any password!
1Password 5.3.1 on MacOSX Yosemite, Chrome 42.

@Disco Stew: Sorry for the trouble! Since 1PasswordAnywhere far predates current advances in 1Password, it does not know about your custom data (or mine, for that matter). Interestingly, 1PasswordAnywhere has always treated your data the same...which is why you're running into this issue.
1PasswordAnywhere was built on the Agile Keychain format, so it reads from the template built into each item type: "Password" and "Notes" fields for a Password item, for example. This is something we may improve in the future, or we may just come up with a different solution since compatibility has always been a struggle for 1PasswordAnywhere in particular.
It doesn't come up often because not many people are interested, so thanks for letting us know that you'd like to see an updated browser-based interface for 1Password! :)
P.S: I've always respected that you don't advertise. Neither do we! ;)

Yeah, most of these problems in the past has been with custom data as well. As IT engineer I have to say that you are doing something very wrong if it causes such troubles. Seriously. Although, as someone, who have been using Apple products for many years, I have to say "Yes, sir! I know I'm holding it wrong!"
On serious side ... 1Password Anywhere was one of main reasons behind my decision why I chose 1Password years ago. It's extremely important for me (and I think it's for many users) to know that in case of emergency I can access my data with any browser in the world. I might not use it for months or even years, but knowing it's there IS very important.

Hi @Disco Stew ,
Thanks so much for the feedback here. I'm sorry that this is frustrating for you. As Brenty mentions, we know that 1Password Anywhere needs a serious upgrade to fit with the new data formats and custom fields available in 1Password 4 and 5, and I'll be sure to pass your thoughts along to our development team. It's great to know that people find this feature useful. :)

@Disco Stew: Point taken. :lol:

You're absolutely right. I'm sorry that 1PasswordAnywhere has fallen a bit behind, but I suspect that we can do much better even than 1PasswordAnywhere in its prime. Thanks again for the push! I hope that we'll have something to meet or exceed your expectations in the future. :)

I'll vote for this update to happen ASAP! I just started a new job where I can't install 1Password locally so I've started migrating to Dropbox sharing to use 1Password Anywhere (iCloud Drive support would be great, along with multiple iCloud-sync'ed vaults; or, better yet, an export option that creates a vault snapshot that can be hosted on any server). I've added several password fields to some of my logins and not being able to see those values is extremely frustrating.

Thanks so much for your feedback, @mrburrito! I agree, 1PasswordAnywhere could certainly use some love to bring it up to speed with more of the features we've added to the apps on each platform. I can certainly forward your thoughts to our developers. Hopefully we'll be able to include some improvements in a future version. Thanks again for taking the time to let us know! :)
