open 1Password but showing data from different vault
Hi - I managed to rename my keychain file but also would like to reflect the name of the keychain file in the fault name; I realised after searching the forum that I cannot rename the primary vault but I figured I could ignore by transferring all items into a new vault named after the keychain; this works, however, when I open 1password on my Mac or iPhone/iPad it always shows the empty primary vault; is there a way of telling the app to load a different vault?
Cheers
Michael

I aware of this thread showing how to rename the keychain file: https://learn2.agilebits.com/1Password4/Mac/en/KB/edit-vault.html and also tried https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/16368/delete-primary-vault

Hi m w,
1Password will always open the Primary vault by default, unless you switch to the secondary vault before unlocking it (but you would need to do that each time you unlock it). It's possible to make your secondary vault into the Primary vault by resetting the 1Password app and syncing with that keychain file first, but then it would still be named "Primary".
I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you about that! If you have more questions or need anything else, please let us know.

Thanks Drew_AG - as I use a number of vaults and share different ones between various people I just wish I could use the same name for the primary vault and its associated keychain; this would make managing these different faults a lot easier.
Something for the wish list of features, please: either let us rename the primary vault of let us choose which vault is the primary one.

Hey there m w,
We've gotten multiple requests for this feature, and we have an open issue for it in our issue tracker. Our developers are working on a way to possibly include this functionality into a future release of 1Password, and I can't make any guarantees, but I have added your vote.
Engaged users like you really enable us to make 1Password better and better. Sincere thanks for your feedback! :)
