Activate 1P on a new Mac

Hi, I have to download and activate 1P license on a new Mac.
After I download 1P how to activate it?

    I'm not sure how far you have got.

    If you download direct from AgileBits, there is a trial period of thirty days. For permanent use you have to buy a license. When you do that (you may already have done so) you get an email with the license file attached. Double-click on this file and your 1PW is licensed. Alternatively, run 1PW, Add License (from a menu item) and you get a file selector for you to choose the license.

    If you got 1PW from the Mac App Store, there is no license, the purchase is tied to your Apple ID.

    Note that if you want to sync with other devices using iCloud, you MUST buy from the App Store, due to restrictions by Apple. But all versions allow Dropbox sync, which has some advantages over iCloud anyway.
